Sterilization of industrial water with ultrafiltration technology

From 2006 on commission by Egis Pharmaceutical Works Co. for the design, construction and operation of groundwater purification equipment based on the principle of catalytic oxidation for the elimination of groundwater contamination in and around the thermal waste management site in Mogyoród owned by EGIS.

2005. Planning and realization of the sewage cleaning equipment for Nestlé Ice Cream Hungária Ltd. We planned a complete sewage cleaning equipment for the cleaning of the sewage produced during the manufacture of the products of Nestlé Ice Cream Hungária Ltd. The step-by-step handling of the sewage allows for the accurate observance of the limit values and the admission of the treated sewage into the drainage. According to the preliminary plans we modeled and proved the steps and effectiveness of the sewage treatment with small test equipment, and then we transformed this technology to the industrial water usage of the company.

2003-2007: During 4 years we prepared regular yearly monitoring reports ordered by ELMŰ SC at the different transformer stations of Budapest and the country. During monitoring we execute regular sampling from the wells of groundwater monitoring. We send the samples to accredited laboratories listed in the monitoring plan for examination, and then we evaluate and document the results.

2003-2004: Budapest, Self Government of the XVIII. District: complete status assessment and remediation of a deserted waste collector. Our company prepared a study for the Self Government of the 18th district on the environmental risks of methane gas production of the site which was left 15 years ago and offered proposals regarding the in-situ intervention of the high methane production. The examinations on the extraction and concentrate changes of methane showed that the disposal of methane gas is inevitable. In order to achieve this we used a low-temperature gas torch which burns the produced biogas with the observance of the adequate protective distance and other instructions. The torch was delivered to the spot and we established the system for gas diversion. The system was operated for one year and then the self government finished the remediation.

2005. Elimination of hydrocarbon contamination resulting from oil leaks in pole mounted transformers in Budapest and the countryside. Elimination of the oily contamination in the area around transformers on electric poles is carried out with the ex situ method. During the environmental condition assessment of the sites, the dimensions and extent of the contamination is delimited the contaminated soil is removed and replaced with clean soil. Soil samples are taken during the operation to be tested at an accredited laboratory.
